WICSA/ECSA 2009 Conference Wiki
The WICSA/ECSA 2009 wiki will be available prior to and throughout the conference. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops to participate in this collaborative effort.
Anyone can view the wiki without logging in. To contribute, you will need a login and password. If you wrote anything to the wiki in previous years, your login is still there. Try it. Otherwise, a few days after you register, a new account will be created for you, and credentials sent to you.
If you want to start contributing right away, contact Bob Schwanke, wiki master. He will be more than happy to expedite your credentials.

About the WICSA Wiki
WICSA is a working conference and working sessions have long been a tradition at previous conferences. They have been used to collect examples of existing best practices; identify characteristics of existing methods and techniques; identify gaps in the state of the practice; and propose new techniques to fill those gaps.
WICSA has been using wikis since WICSA 4, June 2004 in Oslo. The conference wiki enables all participants to contribute to the conference; allows for late-breaking news, supports discussions generated by presentations and sessions and provides an easy way to anyone to capture information about wicsa sessions. Wireless access during the conference allows anyone to access and update the wiki in real-time.
Prior to the conference, the wiki will be used to provide information to, and capture position statements from, workshop and working session registrants.
During the conference, the wiki is intended to be used to:
- capture questions and answers from the plenary sessions
- capture discussions from the working sessions
- contribute positions or observations on the state of the practice in software architecture
- comment on one of the software architecture themes of WICSA
The wiki site will remain available after the conference, the goal being to encourage ideas about software architecture to evolve as an on-going discussion among members of the software architecture community.
