Item 1. P1016 PAR Approval - The PAR for P1016 was resubmitted to the SESC Executive Committee on November 1, 2001. The Executive Committee at the 7 November meeting approved the P1016 PAR. The PAR will be considered by NesCom at their March 2002 meeting. Work on the draft standard can proceed without NesCom approval of the PAR.
Item 2. Project Plan - . The Project Plan for P1016 was submitted to the SESC Executive Committee on November 1, 2001. The Executive Committee at the 7 November approved the P1016 Project Plan. The proviso is that comments received from Management Board Members are incorporation into the November 1, 2001 project plan. The SESC Executive Committee is being ask to review the project plan and signify if their comments were addressed properly.
Item 3. First draft of P1016 - The focus of the group has now shifted to the draft standard. The meeting in Detroit is to define the baseline scope, stakeholders, and expectations and is scheduled for November 18-19, 2001. Myself,. Rich, Dr J, Ira and Judy have confirmed; Ted, Kathy and Joaquin have declined; Jim and Philippe are outstanding. Video Conferencing is available for those of you that are so inclined. Ira is our first checked out subscriber. Judy is in the process of getting checked out. The meeting agenda was finalized and published.
Item 4. Organization - A call for reviewers went out to the AWG interest group. We have twelve responses requesting participation.
