The IEEE 1471 Users Group was established in January 2001, following the publication of IEEE Std 1471 (2000), Recommended Practice for Architectural Description of Software-Intensive Systems. The purpose of the Users Group is to serve as an open forum to discuss issues pertaining to IEEE 1471.
With the joint ISO and IEEE revision of the standard underway, the Users Group mailing list will be the primary source of announcements about the revision, calls for participation, etc.
